Awkward Moments
High school is full of them. Really, life is full of them. So I thought I'd share some of mine!
-The awkward moment when I'm hiding trying to scare a friend in Chamber Music and I yell out "MOO!" instead of "BOO!"
-The awkward moment when I'm walking and the people walking in front of me are so slow that I say, "Can you walk a little faster?" and one of them whips around and screams, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" in my face.
-The awkward moment when I find myself looking at Spongebob videos on YouTube and I realize I've been watching them for over an hour...oops...
-The awkward moment when I can't hear someone talking so I just start nodding and saying "Mhmm" and "Yeah."
-The awkward moment when I'm at Confirmation class and introduce myself to this other girl (trying to be friendly) and realize when she says her name that we have known each other since preschool...
-The awkward moment when I try to make a joke and no one hears me or turns in my direction and I don't know whether I should try again or just abandon it.
-The awkward moment when I POST ON MY BLOG and GRACE does not appreciate me post and I look on her blog and she has posted nothing in three months.
-The awkward moment when I fall in 5th grade and rip the back of my pants open...and some of my friends tell me and I don't quite understand...and then I finally, belatedly do...
-The awkward moment when I fall coming down MJS's steps...
-The awkward moment when I fall in Gym class on this other girl and we both fall to the floor and everyone is watching.
-The awkward moment when I realize I fall a lot...

Names
Let's be honest---my last name is pretty golden. Moore. Ok, so it may be common, but I can draw a smiley face with the two o's. That is downright awesome. Now, I have some other names that need to be glorified. What about the longest name of an Olympic athlete ever. That honor belongs to the skier Max Emanuel Maria Alexander Vicot Bruno de la Santisima Trinidad y Todos los Santos von Hohenlohe Langenburg. Say that three times fast. Still not sure who mixes Spanish and Dutch together in a name...or who gives his/her boy the middle name of Maria...or who would give his/her kid a name that long to begin with. And then there is the short. What about the Olympic judoka named Lamusi A. Keep in mind that it is just A. It doesn't stand for anything. Interesting.
Now, some more of my favorites---here is my top 5 (in no particular order).
5. Batman Bin Suparman~Don't believe me? Here's the proof.

2. Moon Unit- This is the name of a child of Frank Zappa. Her siblings are Dweezil, Ahmet, and Diva Muffin.

I am now an offical blogger!
Believe it or not, one of my friends was giving me grief about not having a blog. Actually, she didn't appreciate my requests for more blog posts on her blog, Amazing Gracie, when I did not have one myself. Now, I don't want to name names...GRACE...but now that slight spat has been resolved. The only problem is attempting to make my blog as interesting as hers. Maybe I'll start with some pirate jokes. They are classic and classy. Really, who doesn't love pirate jokes? Okay, let's get started!
What is a pirates favorite section in marching band?
-Color guARRRRRRRRRRRd!
Why does it take pirates so long to learn the alphabet?
-Because they can spend years at C!
And my personal favorite:
What did the pirate say to a man who insulted him?
-I know you ARR, but what am AYE?
